What's the all time January record for your location? This has gotta be close. -

Holy flying fukkkk. 79 degrees in January. I would expect this in southern Florida, but not really too many other places other than the islands off Texas. Wow. -

I'm gonna grill some actual burgers. Looks like the next 7 days are toast. It is what it is. It would be great to have at least a cool and moist finish to the winter after that. I love snowy mountains. -

At least some mountain snow? We need some. -

I will gladly take a 67 burger. Pretty rare for January. I like anomalous weather. After that, let's get back to winter. I feel like Eugene and especially Springfield are owed some snow after that crapfest that we had to endure. There are still plenty of people without power in Springfield. Sucky is an understatement. -

Yeah, this didn't happen. This evening a big slug of BSF came in, melted all my ice and brought me into the mid 40's. -

I ended up with a sub 40 day at 39/31. It probably helped that there is still a decent amount of slushy ice below my thermometer and it doesn't receive any sunshine this time of year. At 8am it was 32 degrees with light rain. No telling what EUG got since it appears to be broken. -

You don't have water? Did a pipe burst? I know you are in a boil zone. Hopefully you have a camp stove or something. In a pinch you might be able to rig something up with candles. Not sure if this was posted yet. It was from a few miles east of you I believe. Just incredible damage. -

All of the local news stations are offline. Not even active on twitter. 3 of the broadcast towers are offline. I'm guessing travel is next to impossible for many. 36 degrees with a heavy tree branch shower. -

Yep. We are done with the freezing temps for the foreseeable future. That will make it at least a bit more tolerable for those without power. Looking forward to some fifty burgers. This mess will take forever to cleanup. -

Up to 33 degrees. Somehow I managed to not lose power yet, but I'm definitely not out of the woods. Branches are breaking continuously around the neighborhood. I mean nonstop. Very eerie. -

Temps are still stuck at 29 with no precip in sight. No wind. I wonder if we don't get any more precip tonight we might not mix out and can snag another subfreezing high. Probably not though. -

Light ZR still happening. Temps holding steady at 29. If I go outside, I can hear a large branch come down about every 30 seconds from around the neighborhood. My power has shut off twice, but came back on after a few seconds. I'm gathering up the candles and warm weather gear to be ready. -

Still getting the ZR. I can hear tree branches break every once in a while. The power has flickered a couple of times. On a positive note, I have about 5000 brand new icicles.- 6999 replies

It's not ideal. Still way too cool for melting. It will freeze solid eventually. It's just that the precip rate is too high to instantly freeze. Buckle up. This might get shitttty. -

Coming down much heavier now. 27 degrees. There are puddles of water on top of the ice that hasn't frozen yet. Fukkkkk. -

You're supposed to put your plow blade on after the snow has already fallen. It's pretty much your fault.
