  1. LA doing its best Miami impression today. Sticky, cloudy and even some drizzle earlier.
  2. One of the more impressive inversions I've ever seen out here. Drizzle in Pasadena and downright raining in Glendora. Barely 60 in Rialto at 830am on July 1st. Wasn't until the beginnings of Palm Springs as I dipped in to the valley that the gunk literally fell of a cliff at long last.
  3. Past two days have been terrible. Still socked in and can't make my normal desert escape on a Monday.
  4. Some pretty intense downpours in the Inland Empire yesterday around sunset. Got caught in some on my way back from the low desert, where it was partly sunny with a high of 80.
  5. Thunder now in the mix, on the coldest day in ages. Let's see if we can squeeze some more rain out of it now.
  6. First fully gloomy day in a long time.
  7. Weather.com saying 101F right now. Wild
  8. 88 here again. On Superbowl Sunday.
  9. 11 days hit 80 or greater in Jan. Somehow more possible in a La Nina winter than in May/June.
  10. Picture perfect weather these days. First time in a while I've had people visiting in the winter and they get why I'm here.
  11. 85 right now. Looks like we might make it to 87. Wild stuff.
  12. 79 over here. 82 forecast for tomorrow. Fantastic winter so far. The combo of warm rain for a week followed by 1-2 wk heatwaves is much better than the 22-23 winter where it was either pouring and cold, or dry and cold.
  13. Probably the most unusual offshore day I've ever seen. The afternoon turned out partly sunny despite the surprise light rain in the morning. And it's still mild now despite being dark for hours a la a normal Santa Ana event/if monsoon moisture were in play.
  14. A true June Gloom in December. Interesting.
