79 over here. 82 forecast for tomorrow. Fantastic winter so far.
The combo of warm rain for a week followed by 1-2 wk heatwaves is much better than the 22-23 winter where it was either pouring and cold, or dry and cold.
Probably the most unusual offshore day I've ever seen. The afternoon turned out partly sunny despite the surprise light rain in the morning. And it's still mild now despite being dark for hours a la a normal Santa Ana event/if monsoon moisture were in play.
One of the warmest mornings all year long comes on Turkey Day. It was already 81 in Playa Vista at 10AM this time yesterday. The whole coast was hot until onshore breezes kicked in around noon.
Looked like a monsoon Aug/Sept day yesterday afternoon. And now it flipped back to a marine layer this morning, though not as bad as forecast. It was pretty much all clear by 9am here. Fun fall.
Opened up the blinds and the sun is already out. About time. The Apple weather app stubbornly has had rain and winter-like highs forecast for next Monday, even though nowhere else does.
