  1. Never had any additional showers here after the rain band earlier in the evening. Finished with 0.32”.
  2. Not going to lie, we’re seeing some awesome colors to the western horizon right now. Sorry I couldn't get a better view than this right now: Live feed camera from Santa Margarita Reserve just south of me does it more justice:
  3. And there it is, patches of blue sky and sunshine to my immediate west, although it's still raining here. I was hoping I wouldn't see that today. Oh well.
  4. The rain band has been reduced to being barely 20 miles wide at its widest point right now, which is right over me. Decent rain coming down, 0.29" here. Looks like it will at least be in line with predictions for my area. An almost squall-looking formation seems to have developed in San Diego, which I did not expect.
  5. 0.22" and rising, rain is coming down harder than it has all day (but I wouldn't call this heavy rain). The main rain band is looking pathetic now compared to earlier today when it was further upstate. Looks like it'll have disintegrated almost completely by the time it reaches San Diego.
  6. Light rain has become more steady over the past hour here. 0.07" and rising.
  7. The misty light rain is blowing sideways here right now, even though it's not very windy.
  8. Main rain band isn't here yet however I've just recorded 0.02" from light rain here this morning.
  9. Dense fog here last night and this morning, always a pleasure.
  10. It was a decent amount cooler here today, only 76F and that was very brief.
  11. Thunder98 I'm curious do you have a rain gauge? I'd like to see your season totals if you keep track of them for your location.
  12. Bottomed out at 46F this morning here. Finally the hot summer nights are behind us.
  13. The temperature here in Murrieta just dipped to 49.4 F, marking the first time here since May 23 that the temperature fell below 50 F.
  14. Rain is definitely done here and ended up with 0.25". This is the third day so far this season to end with that number at my station, might look a bit strange on my precipitation graph later on.
  15. Seems to be drying out now. Patches of blue sky appearing, sadly.
  16. 0.25” so far here in Murrieta, still drizzling. I wish it would stay like this for weeks.
  17. 0.25” since midnight here. 0.38” in all. Not bad for an October cutoff low.
  18. Steady rain for the last couple of hours, although right now it seems to be being replaced by ferocious winds. Very loud outside right now as trees and loose objects are being blown all over the place. 0.24" since midnight.
  19. You're getting the same ones that just moved through here earier.
  20. Some of the loudest thunder I've ever heard in my life happening here right now. Briefly hailed just now. 0.08" and rising
  21. We had several way back, on 09/18/1999 and 09/21-22/2000 also. Highs only in the 60s those days. Actually 2019 was one of the only mild summers here inland of the entire 2010s (others being 2010 and 2011). Most others were quite hot, particularly Summer 2018. Contrary to the cool temperatures coastal members here saw this summer, this summer was mostly very hot here inland, much hotter than average.
