Fircrest

Snow is wrapping up here looks like. My wife has been wrapping presents also.

After today, Cliff Mass will be even more tired of this, haha.

Definitely in a great spot here. Continues to snow and accumulate, though it's a very wet snow and the roads are quite slushy

Has the NWS not issued any advisories yet? Or did I miss it...

When it was 39 this morning and a rain snow mix, I figured there wouldn't be much today. Well, appear to be in a sweet spot now with heavy wet snow and about an inch of accumulation n Fircrest.

I love snow, but not on that day. We are flying out of SeaTac to Palm Springs then and I don't want cancellations or delays!

My daughter and her boyfriend both graduated from UW this year. He is a triplet and he and his brother went to UW but their sister went to WSU. In fact she is still there as a 5th year senior. They were all at the Apple Cup this year. What a game!

My overnight accumulation

It never really did much here in Fircrest either. Watching the snow line on radar and checking real world conditions of course, I could pretty much tell it wasn't my night. So I got a lot of sleep. Looks like there was some slushy accumulation on the car's windshield, but that was it. Overall a very fun week!

Not sure about that. Hope so, but it's still raining and 37 with a dewpoint of 33.

We love Alaska Airlines, have used them many times and never had a problem. The rewards program is one of the best in my opinion and we have taken several mostly free flights and used the companion ticket to save money over the years.

No, 3 big ones were just cut down around the corner from us 2 weeks ago. People get nervous about windstorms I guess...

And we still have a lot of Fir trees in Fircrest, though people keep cutting them down.

Nice to see much of the snow is still on the trees in my neighborhood and didn't fall off and melt so soon like it has frequently done in the past. And there seems to be more snow in my front yard then when I left for work this morning.

It was pretty snowy at my work place in South Tacoma this morning near the STAR Center. Not snowing now.

All snow now at Fircrest/UP border. Tonight should be fun!

Nothing in South Tacoma where I am currently. Not even raining. Hoping for more snow than we had yesterday. Somewhat jealous of those scoring up north, but everyone will eventually get their turn.

That is such an awesome win! My wife and I and both of our kids are UW grads. Husky Family!
