  1. Hmm, looks like this image didn't show previously. Anyway, it's gonna be a long winter folks!
  2. It's ok man. We all have our weenie moments once in a while. You are allowed at least one this month!
  3. Yeah man. Yellowknife will average 35/20 in winter and 95/70 in summer. Gonna be even more mosquitoes there than there already are.
  4. Yep, I am well aware the odds are stacked in our favor for January (and/or maybe even February). But you know the drill, this is PNW lowland snow/cold we are talking about. It's not over till it's over!
  5. Those January models can be taken with a grain of salt at this point. Anything past day 7-10 is wishful thinking. All I see with that progression is varying shades of cold rain.
  6. Almost to the famed Redding. Would be funny if they got snow and Eugene through to Vancouver, BC were just rain. Redding is barely warmer than here though.
  7. Heyyyyy it's my favourite Portland area resident. Good to hear from ya bud. 40/37 and rain all day here.
  8. To be perfectly honest I am looking forward to the brighter days in April/May and enjoying a beer or glass of wine on the balcony.
  9. I still believe in Santa. He is out there, somewhere, lurking with his herd of reindeer, looking for that ever-elusive cookie and fresh unpasteurised cow milk.
  10. GFS looks weird but the GEM? I just don't see that panning out.
  11. It's literally been raining here nonstop for 2-3 days at 8-10C. Not fun but that's to be expected here. No different from every other year in recent memory (besides 16-17).
  12. Not really. It's been socked in with heavy rain here all day and very dark @10C. Sun angles mean nothing this time of year.
  13. Yes, we all should. The atmosphere will hear our collective crying and then eventually give us a January 1950 repeat.
  14. It's over man. This winter is done and dusted. Might as well cheer for as much ridging as possible.
  15. It's over. It will just be 48/40 and rain the rest of winter. Maybe a few lows between 33-39 and some slop but that's it. Bring on summer sunshine and 80s!
  16. I remember going up to Council Crest with my dad during this blast. It was a chilly 17 degrees with what seemed like a decent amount of snow. Where we lived the coldest temp registered was 8 degrees and it was even snowing! Great memories!
