We'll probably see some ice pellets mix in with these showers and a decent temp drop. Just hoping we get some more organized precip later this afternoon and evening. -

Was just about to post the same info. If we get a historic blast I'm sure the station will find a way to go offline or something. -

February Weather Stats...Monitoring This Historic Month
Bham_Guy replied to snow_wizard's topic in West of the Rockies
Although it's not quite official, it looks like BLI will set the record for the coldest February in its history (since 1949). If my math is correct the monthly average will come in at 32.54. The previous coldest February was 1989 which was 33.83. However, there is a day missing from that month which would have made the average quite a bit colder. What day was it? Of course, Feb. 1st. For some reason the data is missing for that day. Based on the hourly data that is available, that day would have had a high temp around 8° and a low of 4°, making the monthly average 32.84. This is still warmer than 2019, which makes this record even more legit. Also, I believe this was the coldest month overall since Nov. 1985. -
I sent them an email about it. I'm sure they figured it out anyway, but just wanted to make them aware.
-
Yeah. Thankfully, they corrected the error on Sunday. Official high that day was 32. I wonder if they'll fix this one as well.
-
Not even close to accurate.
-
Seeing an icy mix of light snow / sleet / rain on the northwest side of town. Temp is back down to 28°.

Looks like the heaviest snow of the night right now. Approaching 4 inches on the northwest side of town. Good to see BLI reporting accurate temps again.
