    Fizzling deformation band sagged south just enough to squeak out one more sleet slap in the face.

    Been all sleet since 10:00 AM. Is there a chance of wrap around moisture tonight? Crazy that upper layers didn’t cool over here.

    Are we expecting the upper levels to cool off? That heavier band is crossing Newberg at the moment, looks somewhat juicy behind it too.

    A bit of a lull at the moment, been mainly sleet. Seems to be a heavy bad moving through Salem, hopefully it'll bode well for my area if it can hold.

    I’m seeing that too. Precip has been a bit lame the past 90 minutes here on the west side.

    Heavy bands missing me. 15° now which is impressive. The lighter precip is ice pellets/sleet. Radar doesn’t look too promising for heavier bands my way, hope that’s not the case all day.

    If it were me I would certainly cancel. Even if you made it to Salem safely, it wouldn’t be worth the white knuckle driving and stress. Sit back and enjoy while SR gets nuked.

    Currently sitting at 17°, maybe drop down a degree before sunrise. It’s dry and breezy, clouds look stormy to my South. Hard to think the highs in the teens for today, brrr.

    It’s been calm all day in SW Beaverton as expected, although the wind just picked up a bit. Sitting at 22° now, that windchill is no joke.

    Went from 37 to 30 in the last four to five hours here near 170th and Rigert. Not a bad drop considering the calm wind.

    Fine line between snow and sleet for SW Beaverton and Tigard to my eye. I don't want to hear the hiss of another sleet storm.

    I was in Sunriver during the February 2019 storm which dumped 30", incredible way to spend a birthday. Enjoy what you have coming, it'll be epic.
