  1. Luke 6:27-31 "But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. If someone slaps you on one cheek, turn to them the other also. If someone takes your coat, do not withhold your shirt from them. Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. Do to others as you would have them do to you." Matthew 5:38-42 "You have heard that it was said, ‘Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.’ But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also. And if anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, hand over your coat as well. If anyone forces you to go one mile, go with them two miles. Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you." Matthew 12:36 "But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken."
  2. No, but very funny joke. Bill Clinton had nothing to do with any private email servers. It was all on Hillary but the FBI investigated and found she was not guilty. Then the FBI reopened the investigation for no apparent reason just days before the election and it cost Hillary Clinton the Presidency. They didn't find anything on her to press charges. Hillary Clinton should be President right now. You don't know how lucky you guys have it up there with Trudeau as Prime Minister. He is a great young leader. The USA is going down a deep hole with Trump as President. Trump will start World War 3 and send lots of boots on the ground in the Middle East soon. The US economy will start to tank. I'm actually really considering moving to Canada to get away from Trump but also because you guys receive much more snow than us down here.
  3. I rarely use this word but there's too much model agreement. It's a lock that the PNW will see an Arctic Blast towards the end of February into early March. There are going to be records broken in terms of temperature and snowfall for some locations in early March. Winter is going to end with a bang! ❄
  4. Yeah, the window of opportunity has been discussed for quite a while now. I wanted to make it seem like I'm the first one to go all in and call it to get all the credit and nobody else. Yes I'm with casting but I don't care. If I'm right I'll look good. If I'm wrong life still goes on.
  5. Winter isn't over just yet. I think we have a good chance to see at least a modified Arctic Blast and snow/ice storm here in the PNW late February into early March. I'm more confident in this one being a region wide event than early February.
  6. Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump Do you think Putin will be going to The Miss Universe Pageant in November in Moscow - if so, will he become my new best friend? https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/347191326112112640 Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump I just got back from Russia-learned lots & lots. Moscow is a very interesting and amazing place! U.S. MUST BE VERY SMART AND VERY STRATEGIC. https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/399729261684490240
  7. Yeah, exactly. These people are not true Christians. You should never wish ill will on any group of people. Some people just have an evil heart.
  8. This just makes me sick what people are saying about the Oroville Dam Crisis. The irony is that the people being affected by this crisis voted more for Trump than Clinton. Some people automatically think if your from a blue state you're all Democrat and if your a red state you're all Republican. People need to be kind to one another and stop judging people based on their appearance and where they live. http://www.patheos.com/blogs/friendlyatheist/2017/02/13/what-caused-the-oroville-dam-crisis-some-christians-online-blame-ca-liberals-for-defying-god/
  9. Im actually thinking of moving to one of the Mt Hood villages like Welches or Rhododendron. Or better yet Government Camp. If I can find a good job on the east side of town it might be worth it.
  10. For anybody not getting snow, don't feel so bad. At least your not Atlanta Falcon bettors who had ATL +3 and Atlanta was up 28-3 in the 3rd quarter. Talk about a backdoor cover and a painful way to lose!
  11. What a game. The best Super Bowl I have ever watched! The last 2 SB's they have won the other team choked it away by making horrible play calls near the end of the game. I still have to give Brady and the Patriots credit but they could and should have lost the last 2 SB's.
  12. All rain here in SW Gresham at 550 feet. I'm expecting nothing and anything will be a surprise.
  13. I don't know much about your micro climates up there but the NWS Seattle is being way too conservative. I see the 00z EURO verifying and the snow amounts will even shift slightly north so the heart of Puget Sound will be in the sweet spot. I see at least 12" widespread by Monday midday.
  14. Enjoy your big snowstorm Seattle! You deserve it after getting shafted all Winter long!
  15. I'm about ready to go out shopping but I just saw the 12z WRF 1.33KM, the highest resolution model they have. Good luck to everybody tonight! ☁❄
  16. Yeah, the NAM 3KM has been pretty accurate this Winter. That's what gives me confidence is even though it was close to the Jan 10/11 event, it was still far off with the snow totals. I can't ignore it showing 15" right now. All eyes on the 00z runs tonight. Unfortunately I'll be busy tonight and most likely wont be able to see the runs in real time. We are going to have a huge Super Bowl Party and I'll need to head to the store tonight and buy all the food and prepare it for tomorrow.
  17. Yeah lower than the nearly 2 feet it was showing on the 12z run but it's still showing close to 15" by Monday 4am. What gives me confidence is that the 3KM version did the best with snow totals for the January 10th and 11th snowstorm. In cases like this, the highest resolution model is the way to go. The 00z runs will be critical tonight. http://maps4.pivotalweather.com/maps/models/nam3km/2017020418/042/sn10_acc.us_nw.png
  18. The potential is there for this to be one for the ages. I love what he's thinking right now. I'm going to wait until the 00z runs to make my final forecast but right now I'm going for a widespread 12"-18" for PDX Metro with some spots approaching 2 feet in the higher hills and isolated areas. "All areas at the lowest elevations along I-5 from Olympia to Albany will likely see at least some snow on the ground by late Sunday night and for the Monday AM commute since we’ll all cool close to 32 degrees There is a decent potential that some location somewhere along the I-5 corridor at the valley floor (somewhere between Albany & Olympia) and some city along the coast north of Pacific City will see a foot of snow on the ground by Monday morning. We just don’t know exactly where at this point."
  19. Yeah but it still shows PDX getting 5 inches. It also trended better than the earlier 12z run today. Most models have below freezing 850mb temps during the same time period. It's going to be close but I've had my fair share of snow this Winter, go big or go home is what I want.
  20. Here is the track the 00z UKMET takes. http://img.meteocentre.com/models/ukmet_amer_00/GZ_D5_PN_048_0000.gif http://img.meteocentre.com/models/ukmet_amer_00/GZ_D5_PN_060_0000.gif
