  1. I've pretty much been right on the edge of it too. I could also use another five blocks. Even a few feet would probably help....
  2. Yeah, it definitely has that classic look to it. To my south is blue sky, and to the north is nothing but sweet darkness. Snow is picking up here a bit in the waning sun.
  3. Here is another view of the front edge. Snowing and sunny right now. Looks like/hopefully I’m about to get pummeled.
  4. There have been some healthy-looking green returns over me for like an hour now, but not even a flurry. Sky doesn't look particularly threatening either. I can see the Olympics from my apartment. Just shook my fist at them a couple of times....hopefully that'll help.
  5. That map is insane. When was the last time we had a robust ridge to our west and a -NAO on steroids like that?
  6. Some of the other models look good (or have improved). The 3KM doesn't look good for SEA, so will follow the scientific method and toss it
  7. You seem like a nice guy, but not the "glass half full" sort. It sounds like at least an inch or two for your area is very possible. And I'm not sure what you mean by "more rain." Hasn't rained in a while around here...
  8. It's ripe with potential. Those away from the water, a bit elevated, and/or a little north are probably going to pretty happy if it turns out anything like that. Having said that, it might turn out well even for those who lack those most enviable qualities.
  9. Surprised it’s still snowing here. Got a little more than an inch. More than happy with that.
  10. Still coming down nicely on top of Capitol Hill and absolutely beautiful out there. Glad so many have scored. Looks like I'm not going to have to pass out any gift cards after all...
  11. Looks like that's happening now. Hopefully the main show is commencing.
  12. Heavier stuff is finally making it further east north of Seattle. Now we just need it to sink like the stock market this afternoon....
  13. I wouldn't say that, but it doesn't seem to be moving south to me (if anything it's crept a bit north and the hole over King County has expanded from above and below). Oh well, it's performing well in many areas to the north, and hopefully we'll still get our turn in the next few hours. If not I'll be passing out a lot of gift cards
  14. I agree about the "cloud look" in general, but I like the overall structure/location of the storm and recent developments, not just the look of the clouds. The radar/obs up north seem encouraging too. Who knows what will happen, but I think at lot of people in the Central Sound will see at least an inch. I'm willing to bet Dewey's leftover gift card on it
  15. I’m looking upstream. Seems to be some nice enhancement taking place over BC. But who knows, I could be wrong.
