  1. We live in South West Seattle (Arbor Heights) aka the "screw-zone" for snow. Woke up to a little over 3 inches this morning and plenty enough to take the kids out sledding. Main streets are clear but side roads are snow covered. Great start to the New Year. Hopefully, everyone who didn't get much will get a turn later this week.
  2. Really hope that we can squeeze out at least a few inches with the initial front on Sat/Sun.
  3. I feel your pain. My location (west seattle) has received about 1/2 inch of slushy snow. Hope the models keep trending in the right direction.
  4. Wishcasting of course but dream scenario would be a little snow on Christmas Eve for the Hawks/Cardinals with snow on the ground Xmas morning.
  5. I would rather take a 2-4 inch event that sticks around for several days then a foot of snow that transitions to 45 degree rain the next day. Glad PDX and surrounding areas scored this time. Hopefully, the Puget Sound gets in on the action next time.
  6. Couldn't agree more. I think most of us are sick of transition snow that starts melting at 7am the next day. Only so many chances...
  7. Happy for our Portland friends but almost unreal how bad the Seattle/Tacoma metro areas have been hosed on snow events lately.
  8. NWS already back-tracking on snow for Seattle tomorrow. Saying 1-3 inches due to drying from the easterlies then a rapid transition to warm rain by early Friday. This is starting to feel like bust potential again. However, maybe it's a good thing that NWS is back-tracking given their failures of late.
  9. Gonna be a lot of deflated snowners if forecast for snow falls apart in Seattle
