Unable to post the video but to witness your first fire and have your child in the car got her adrenaline rollin!!! I heard my grandson in the video say...this is my first wildfire ...lol...he is 6. When I went through that area earlier their was a guy cutting the grass along the roadside. I winder if he sparked the fire? Anyhow, adrenaline rolls when you witness someth8ng like that so close.

Fire not far from my house. Daughter got the shots ....fire engines where not on seen yet....crazy scary moment for her as it just unfolds in front of her with cars ahead and behind her. Luckily traffic kept moving keeping her and my Grandson out of danger. This is and area where us folks in Federal Way can take a short cut via 509 through the Tacoma shipyard to get to I–5 without passing through the Fife gridlock. Scary how fast it moved! Unsure if any of the houses at the top of the hill where damaged by the fire.

I seem to be smelling smoke outside this morning? Hope it’s my imagination as my nose usually doesn’t function to well after a long nights rest. Currently 58*

The good old days are still happening in Kirkland ! I don’t know why but loved them as a kid. We would sit on the curb and wait for them comng down the block. Street cleaners and the Goodyear blimp to fly over. Loved the loud engine
