  1. Slightly higher elevation in that area helps a little. Also the overall geography with mountains closer to the south and east with the end of the Willamette valley probably helps the front stall out even more down there. The cold air above catches up faster to the stalled precipitation down there to the south.
  2. Hell yeah. This is the kind of setup that the Eugene area almost always outperforms Portland in.
  3. The cold front just went through Medford! They dropped from 50 to 40 degrees. I’m always rooting for that area!
  4. Yeah, I wasn’t expecting anything since the models didn’t like the idea of valley snow this morning. It seems like the southerly wind still hasn’t completely died as well. Still 40 degrees.
  5. Wow, that is stacking up fast. Should be a fun day up there!
  6. Most people are intelligent enough to understand the differences of climate and don’t need to keep bringing it up over and over again.
  7. It just dropped 8 degrees in 10 minutes there and you can see it on the radar.
  8. Starting to get a little stormy out there with some heavier rain. Still a very cold 50 degrees.
  9. 50 degrees and raining here. The frogs are croaking and loving it. It’s definitely going to snow tomorrow.
  10. They will make up for the rain by getting tons of snow tonight.
  11. Getting some nice sun breaks and up to 43 degrees here. Could get some pretty dynamic showers this afternoon/evening before it dries out.
  12. 37 degrees with a rain shower moving through. Nice to get some cooler air back before winter ends!
  13. The front is sure taking its time. Still 48 degrees here.
  14. Next weekend looks very chilly for the first week of March.
  15. I’m rooting for the Medford-Ashland area! And Eugene-Springfield!
  16. The cold front is approaching. 51 degrees here.
  17. Made it to above 50 degrees before the system moves in.
  18. I accidently deleted all of my weather links two weeks ago. It was devastating. Could you link me this site again please?
