With a small patch/drift of snow next to my driveway, I'm looking at "snow-on-snow" to start off my spring right! (SMH)
GRR's latest map with the heaviest about a county south of here, but we've been in a sort of sweet spot this mild winter, so I wouldn't be surprised if it bumped north, especially considering the time of year. Had 17F on my car dash heading to work this morning. Even our cove here at the lake has skinned back over with ice. Supposed to hit 50F by Monday at least, after yet another wintry weekend.Â
4th first ice is always the best ice

Definitely seeing daily fire risk here now. And no moisture in sight, still.
But hey, at least I can always count on the GFS to show a massive rager of a storm 2 weeks out!
Always just 2 weeks away. Fire danger is gonna get out of hand here. Severe drought category now

ORD and Duluth battling it out 18.5" to 18.7" for the season so far. I can believe ORD has beaten Duluth at some point over an entire cold season. But, you'd have to be a fool to predict this little for Duluth to date. Â
just incredible

This little drought is gonna get out of hand if we don't get some real precip soon. Rivers are 2-4' low with no snow for run off.

Does anyone have a site with a calendar of high and low temps. Trying to put together our ice making log matched up with temps for the season. Thanks a ton.
