  1. US 2 in Tumwater Canyon is closed again due to snow slides.
  2. Seems like the areas that are clearing out, go right to the ground fog. 44° with fog developing in Issaquah.
  3. Now Snoqualmie Ridge has the fog and it's clear down below.
  4. I know right! If this keeps up too long the daffodils will start popping up. I remember they did right before we got all the snow in February of 2019.
  5. Now all is quiet now. It was raining pretty hard coming into downtown from the east. Now I understand why you get 60"+ of moisture annually.
  6. Raining in North Bend now...where did this come from, lol!?
  7. Listening to KIRO radio and their talking about the lack of WADOT snow plow drivers because 170 were let go due to getting vaccinated right before we got our snowstorms. Lot of complaints from residents in places that got snowed in for so long. Something has to be figured out before the next snowstorm. Millions and millions of dollars were lost because I-90 was closed down for so long.
  8. Right downtown Snoqualmie it is foggy, but up on the ridge it's pretty clear. About 49°.
  9. Bright and sunny with 54° when I left Mercer Island. Now over in Snoqualmie - the valley is really socked in with low clouds and fog.
  10. Those pictures from the east flank of the Cascades are out of this world! I've never seen those colors before in the sky like that. Thinking it was the combo of the deep snow cover and maybe the thickness of the clouds... Pretty foggy in spots tonight. I was working in Issaquah and Sammamish and by 10 or so the fog really built up against Squak and Cougar Mountain. Had to go into the May Valley area and that was socked in pretty good. Not a lot of people out - in fact traveling down 900 then dropping off an order off of the May Valley Road and then proceeding towards the Coal Creek Parkway, I only passed one car.
  11. Good luck on selling your house and moving! That's really something that only one house is for sale in Maple Valley. Sioux Falls can get some pretty big snowstorms. I've seen them get snow into May before! Be prepared for large temperatures swings there in the spring and autumn.
  12. Let it happen a day before - that's my birthday!
  13. What happens then or what would you like to happen?
  14. SEA will easily hit the 7" mark if this keeps up the rest of the night. 137" snowpack at Paradise right now.
  15. Temp up to 53° now with a strong south breeze.
  16. That's a great track record. I've seen snow plow drivers take out mailboxes before. Little foggy in the May Valley now.
  17. That usually happens in big cities, not places like Leavenworth. I know Chicago used to dump snow into the Chicago River. I think now they can't do that because of the road salt mixed in.
  18. A balmy 52° in Issaquah tonight. Not sure if this was posted, but this is a good article with pictures of the situation in Leavenworth. https://www.seattletimes.com/seattle-news/weather/leavenworth-is-running-out-of-places-to-put-its-record-breaking-snowfall/
  19. More rain, big whop! Might be talking about more flooding in 24 hours.
  20. Next AR is here in Bellevue with steady rain. I see that White Pass had to close down again. At least the people that were stranded there had a window to get out when they could.
  21. Nice to see one pass open today. Been seeing more semis passing by Eastgate in the last 2 hours. Stevens sounds like a nightmare. Not 50° anymore...in the upper 30s now!
  22. No way I could do Texas either. The Black Hills of South Dakota are really nice!
  23. A lot less snow today! I think it got up to 51° here.
