  1. From picture perfect winter wonderland to brown slushy crap in less than a week. Lets go EURO!
  2. I was surprised yesterday when NWS Green Bay didn't issue watches. They held firm this morning as well. National Weather Service Green Bay WI 418 AM CST Tue Dec 20 2022 Forecast discussion for routine morning forecast issuance Still too much uncertainty on key aspects of the forecast to issue headlines for the incoming storm system with the morning issuance.
  3. Spent the weekend out enjoying the snow in Northern Wisconsin.
  4. Great storm summary from NWS Green Bay. https://www.weather.gov/grb/December13-15WinterStorm2022
  5. Perhaps the best winter mood enhancer is when NWS doubles your prediction. Was satisfied with 4" but excited with the chance at 8"
  6. 2" since daybreak. No wind to speak of. Snow is falling straight down which is a very unusual sight.
  7. Daytime, heavy snow and light be winds. That sounds like the PERFECT Sunday! I'm calling 6" but that might be low.
  8. Green Bay didn't issue any watches but LaCrosse issued for county to my west and south.
  9. What a gorgeous day yesterday. Usually when we have records highs in the winter it's because of a strong storm pumping heavy rains and southerly winds ahead of the cold front. Yesterday was unique with clear sun and breezy west wind. 10. Felt like spring this morning. Sunshine and birds chirping.
  11. Is there anything worse than freezing drizzle?
  12. Winds created some serious drifts and whiteouts on Saturday. Central Wisconsin snowmobile trails are starting to shape up nicely. As always hoping for a little more snow and cold. Here's a pic of my son stuck in a drift. Had to snap a photo and laugh before helping him out.
