Yeah, the night we had some falling snow was nice. Just wish it could've been more. As it is, the winter is still a solid B since we had a prolific ice storm that will be remembered for a long time as well as 2 straight sub freezing highs in an impressive low level cold airmass, which hadn't happened since Jan 2017. Nice to get that monkey off our back as well.

What are sill plates? Are they next to the windows?

Not really. They go under some of the walls in the house.

Yeah, they were even crawling on me when I woke up.

I have several of those in the house so hopefully they work eventually.

Anybody got ideas as to how to get rid of sugar ants throughout the house?

Unfortunate to have had only 1.5” in the last 2 years and more ice accumulation in a single event rather than this. If it doesn’t accumulate on the roads it doesn’t count right? We haven’t had that happen since Dec 2021 overnight and it melted during the day.

Anybody else not have anything last night? Springfield barely even had any brief snow in the air during this stretch.

Insurance still hasn't approved the medication I'd been taking since my brain surgeries in 2018. Haven't taken it in over a week now and I keep having my hands and feet go numb and I'm not able to walk much. I called the neurologist office for the 2nd time about this now and they say it's still waiting to be approved. I asked what to do if this keeps getting worse and seizures become more and more common cuz of it? They said to just go to the ER where a bunch of sick people are. I don't want to get sick and I'm not sure what an ER dr would do? They would just say, "well, talk to your neurologist about this..." This sucks. Trying to stay positive but feeling like I keep falling away from reality and existence is scary.

Most likely record-breaking warmth for here once the cool rainy pattern stops. Not looking forward to summer with crappy AC.
