    Looks like Two Medicine Bridge was the coldest in MT this morning at -40F. Tonight outta be fun to see just how low we go! -40 in Bozeman looks like a good bet with some -50's in the usual cold spots of MT.

    This thing really trended colder down the stretch. Kind of a sneaker historic type airmass. There is even a reenforcing shot coming here Sunday night keeping us below zero into Tuesday now.

    Still going down even with the sun up. Now down to -29F. Should break all sorts of record low highs and lows today and tomorrow. Even some all time record lows look to be in jeopardy.

    Lots of windchills of -40F to -60F out here this morning. Current actual temp here is -25F which is my low for the day. Midnight "high" was -12F which will likely be my high for the day. Cold air has pushed in more aggressively than modeled.

    Front passed through here about an hour ago. Moderate snow and -5F. So it begins!

    Teepees are actually quite genius. Can keep a nice fire going while trapping in the warmth.

    It's honestly hard to comprehend. Huddle around the fire and never leave I guess!

    BZN hit -45F. My house hit -40F but my Davis is only rated to -40F so who knows!

    Nope, only for very brief moments. Frostbite happens ridiculously fast in those temps, 5 minutes or so. No dogs but I know the ones here take care of their business real fast before going right back inside!

    HRDPS performs really well here. It's my go to for short term guidance.

    Portland!! Currently 4F here after 4" of snow last night. Arctic front is still set to arrive here this evening along with another 3-5" of snowfall. Beginning tonight, it will likely not rise above zero until Monday. Windchill Advisories are up through Sunday with wind chills of -50F.

    I still remember Jan 2017 like it was yesterday. PDX NWS was predicting 1-8" that afternoon. I ended up with 18".

    Still dumping here and down to 14F. 3-4" already when the models predicted maybe an inch tonight. Down to 13F now.     Can't really see from the picture but it's nuking here right now. Nice to get hit tonight before the Arctic front arrives here tomorrow night. Looks like the NWS is going with 3-5" in Bozeman with the front tomorrow night. Currently 18F.
