    Puntzi Mountain Airport west of Williams Lake BC hit -55 this morning and is already down to -34 right now. 7 degrees colder than last night at this time. The station could approach its all-time record low of -63 degrees if trends hold.

    GFS shows freezing temperatures extending well offshore in BC and Southeast Alaska with all of that frigid air spilling out over the ocean. I can see freezing spray becoming an issue along the Inside Passage shipping routes and even in Puget Sound with the colder GFS solutions. Something to watch for especially after the sinking of the crab boat in AK last week.

    The DOT weather station at the Stampede Pass exit is up to 40 degrees after a low of 5. Quite an impressive diurnal range. Meanwhile Ellensburg is still at 18.

    I have plenty of reasons to dislike Omar but her alleged 'anti-Semitism' is not one of them. If she were talking about the influence of Russia or Saudi Arabia rather than Israel there would have been no controversy whatsoever. As someone who's neutral on the whole Israel-Palestine issue it's actually amusing to watch members of both parties absolutely lose their f***** minds over this.

    In WA? Try Badger Mountain. There are some residences above 4,000 feet and only ~20 min from Wenatchee. Probably one of the best climates in the state.

    Downtown Los Angeles hasn't hit 70 degrees since January 29th, and it may not reach 70 again until late next week. That's nearly 45 days.
