Jesse and Tim used to keep things active in the spring with some LIVELY conversations. No more.

That is true, has only been 6 months since he was banned. Overall still besides the interesting weather in the last week of February…has been quiet the last 2 months.

We all had a pretty bad sickness after getting to Sioux Falls. I ended up in the ER last week due to dehydration. It was pretty nasty. But we are all feeling better today and what good timing - it was sunny (like almost every day here so far) and 73 today. Awesome weather to go check out Falls Park. We just absolutely love it here!

I am guessing 73 and sunny here would be considered a catastrophe... at least according to some in our little group in this alternate reality where people aren't happy unless its raining and dark every day.  😎

Glad you are loving it there.   You are really going to love summer... guaranteed warm with lots of thunderstorms.

Some element of truth there... Joshua has actually said he is not happy unless its dark and raining every day except for 6 days in the summer during the afternoon when he is golfing.

12Z GFS is quite dry over the next 2 weeks... some weak systems move through at times but nothing major.

Tuesday screams high temp overperformance.... GFS going for mid 50s at KSEA under high clouds, but southerly flow, building heights, and advancing ridge correlate strongly with low-mid 60s at this time of year.

NAM has a better handle on things IMO, has low 60s in western WA, with mid-upper 60s in western OR. Eastern WA will be quite warm on Wednesday, possibly pushing 75°F or so while the westside cools off.

In this case it will be 60s and low humidity. Perfect Spring weather, then right back into fresh cooler air. A one day warm spell. And it gets nice and cool and rainy the day after.

In your area at this point in the season it could mean 80s and sweltering though 🤢

Thanks man. Our immediate thought was COVID but luckily we were all negative. Nurse at the hospital said it was most likely a gastrointestinal bug. She said they've been seeing a ton of people lately with similar, uh, "loose" symptoms.

Although my wife didn't have much intestinal issues but instead had really horrible joint pain. Every joint in her whole body really hurt. Which doesn't really jive with a gastro bug so I'm not entirely sure what it was but whatever it was, it was pretty freaking rough.

D**n. Could be flu type A? I had it in early 2020 and it just destroyed me. Joint pain was the worst symptom by far.

Got covid 6 weeks later and ironically it was mild by comparison (though obviously not true for some people).

Other than that I actually haven’t been sick since I was 12 years old. So strange how this stuff works.

And just like that the only March storm shown on the models for us is gone! Lame. Likely a March shutout and guaranteed lowest precip total ever recorded for Jan-March. Snowfall for Jan - March will be second lowest behind Jan - March 2015.

If last nights euro is right spring is still not really in full swing yet. Still some decent lowland rain/mountain snow makers through the end of the month. We’re currently 0.5 degrees below normal for the month…and could get close to or hit normal rainfall for March.

SEA is up to .52 since yesterday and now at 3.09 for the month.    Should secure another wetter than normal month with 10 days left to go and several more systems ahead.
