I agree! I say we round up all the people with "crazy" opinions and put them in one centralized, enclosed location.

Just gotta say VPHarriis’s impassioned speech in Poland wouldn’t scare my grandkids.  She missed her “Churchill” moment.
Her giggle after being asked about refugees… oh boy 🙁.

Parkinson Dementia can be hard to diagnose at first but expert observers are thinking he has it.
It falls under the umbrella of Dementia diseases.
It also got out that he had abdominal surgery last yr for cancer and that he’s grooming a successor.
He’s acting like he knows time is short.
Let’s hope that’s true.
We haven’t seen war and mass graves like this since WW2.  And he may- may use a small tactical nuke. Nothings sure. He’s not balanced.

I think this is possible, but I don't completely buy the "Putin is unhinged," line of thinking. We also have to remember much of the "news" we are getting about this conflict is heavily propagandized.

Sounds like Belarus may be entering the conflict officially. It’s been a launch pad for troops but now they may officially use their own troops. Could see them used to infiltrate western Ukraine and cut it off.

I would venture to guess that the astronauts themselves are maintaining a high degree of professionalism, but the whole support aspect of things seems to be a bit of a mess.....

Anyone doing anything different in their lives with the current world issues? Driving less, buying less, or buying more, stocking up more on items that might become extremely expensive, prepping for cyber attacks, prepping for something more major?

Way I look at it is despite the unrest in Eastern Europe, we’re still FAR more likely to be up sh*t creek due to a massive Cascadia Subduction Zone earthquake. And we haven’t been, nor will we ever be nearly as prepared as we should be for that guy. Only win we can claim is that we still have left over candy in the pantry from Xmas.

We’re driving more thoughtful of getting more done when out.
Just paid $5.00/gal tonight. Considering Texas supplies a 40% of US oil, that’s disheartening. It’s not like it being shipped into the US from the opposite side of the planet. It’s US oil.
This whole thing stinks.

I thought of this exact thing when I read Moss' comment.  Between Rainier and the tectonic plates underneath us, the PNW is a ticking time bomb.  Prepping for those things isn't a bad idea.
