All global models agree on a very decent amount of CA precipitation over the next week. Great news for them at a time when they desperately need some!

12z Euro looks great for there. More precip in the Sierra and Shasta country than at Tim’s place!

I had to look up Isle of Palms as I had never heard of it. Is that the resort you were just at?

I have been looking at a possible second home in the Surfside beach, Myrtle, North Myrtle beach areas. Single family homes a few blocks from the ocean are still very affordable there and they let you take golf carts from your home to the beaches.

Original plan was to eventually get a condo in San Diego but financially that is no longer possible as everything down there is 750k plus.

How’s the snow been down there recently? Get a good amount?

Tacoma WA elevation 300’

Monthly rainfall-3.56”

Warm season rainfall-11.14”

Max temp-88

+80 highs-2

+85 highs-2

+90 highs-0

Yeah... the upcoming pattern is historically pretty nice in my area with a storm track to the south of WA.   Looking forward to it.

Seems like we only get Tahoe updates when some dire sounding warm or dry record has been broken. Think it’s been a good pattern down there recently and could continue to be

Almost makes you wonder where Joshua’s been recently 😱 I know the drought problem isn’t solved but you’d figure you have to be happy about the last couple weeks.

It’s not truly the warm season until the cheap plastic backyard chairs are out. These things have taken us through several springs and summers. Just like every year I’m sure they’ll be out until October!

He's kind of just a glorified troll. He literally only posts when he's lamenting a dry stretch or a dry 00z GFS run that has cut QPF by .50".

Those can stay out all year long... we have 4 chairs like that and don't bother to bring them in.... and they come in handy on those rare beautiful days in January and February.

Only 2" here as the storms haven't been able to make it over the crest. Donner summit is at 30" for the month and the west slope got some good moisture so that should delay fire season to June instead of immediately which is nice. Just got back from taking the dog swimming and the lake is crazy low for this time of year. I think most boat launches will be closed by Aug this summer from low water levels.

West slope has done well. Storms haven't been able to make it over the crest to the south end of the lake so far. Just 0.70" of precip this month. We are at 1.4" of precip since Jan 1st on South shore. Normal would be around 17"

I definitely know that people have different preferences and that is cool.  I just speak up when Phil acts like "everyone" wants and needs it to stay cold and wet and snowy... that is projecting.

It gets really annoying.  He doesn't even live here.

Yeah... been power washing my parent's deck this morning.   Beautiful day.    They are at the age now when they can't really maintain the house now.   Need to get them into something smaller... maybe assisted living.

That’s a tough one …hope they are willing.

57/33 Federal away although I was down in PDX where it was beautiful as well.  Happy Easter all and heading to store first thing in morning to get a half price hollow chocolate bunny to chew on…..gotta love cheap tasting chocolate…..lol
