IMO, today did not feel humid, again that is just my opinion and others are free to have a differing opinion other than mine, it is ok, be yourself.

Did not say it was a humid day... just said it felt more humid than last week when dewpoints were in the 20s.   The air feels different and smells different... and more normal for April.   It is not a matter of opinion that today was more humid than during most of the cold spell last week when dewpoints were in the 20s... its just a fact.

Nothing was directed at anyone in particular, was just expressing myself in a professional and courteous manner, no need for explanation.

And you are kind of sus to automatically feel like someone is talking about what you said, just strange.  I don't post much anymore obviously mostly due to work schedule, just get the vibe of the convo and reply accordingly.

How is the game?

Super weird. First inning was awesome, since then Mariners bats have fallen silent and our outflielders have messed up on simple scoops. Heading into the bottom of the seventh now so we’ll see what’s up.

You would expect a warm-up with an MJO transit across the Pacific at this time of year, but guidance isn’t really there yet. Interesting.

And it’s a very quick passage given the niña base state. So the window is short.

Confoundingly we did not win tonight, but there was decent (albeit crucially inefficient) offense, great views, and even a stellar rainbow right around sunset. All in all a good evening.

Tomorrow I’ll go back to try and secure a win in person. I’ve never seen one ever in the now 13 games I’ve been to in my life.

But could you tell if it was humid?

Looks pretty close to where my wife and I will be sitting for the Motley Crue/Def Leppard concert coming up this summer (finally!)

Interesting paper. I’d been highlighting the early 2020s for an impressive multiyear niña for awhile myself, but used a different method based on lagged IPWP response(s) to radiative forced atmospheric changes.

Still, looks like a good call on timing.

By virtue of May looking increasingly progressive with amplified ridging being undercut by deeper troughing, I'm going to go out on a limb and claim that there will be a very decent thunderstorm outbreak during that month. I'm hoping, at least.

You are 0-13 at Mariners games??   That is pretty amazing from a statistical perspective.

Looks like it will be a pretty nice weekend... good timing since we have lots of yard work to get done.    Last Sunday was nice but were up in Bellingham.    And we were out of town the two weekends before that.   Need to get caught up.

My life long dream is what you have right there!  Being on a deck (water and sunset view) enjoying a cocktail watching Mother Nature doing her thing!   I put money down on a house over near you (Chambers Bay Area ) with that view but pulled the deal as it just didn’t  feel right. Still love my location and I’m ok with the 5 minute drive to enjoy!!! I’m sure your not taking that view for granted and I sure do enjoy your photos.

Definitely don’t take it for granted and still enjoy it in all seasons. It was a tough decision to take on a pretty sizable (for us) mortgage at this point in life, but happy every day with the decision. Lots of great weather pics from you and many other posters here. It’s one of the things about this forum I really enjoy.

I'll be there tonight too! That's some really brutal bad luck.

A pattern like this through the summer would be the best thing to happen to this country since the end of WWII.

Beautiful!

So the summer of 1964 did not happen after WWII?   😀

FWIW... both the 00Z EPS and control run were drier than normal for western WA over the next 2 weeks.   Looks like a fairly pleasant spring pattern overall.

got down to 29 at the house last night

another freeze.  told the landscapers to hold off until May

the snow we had last week must've introduced some nutrients because the grass and weeds are waking up

suppose to be in the mid 60s this weekend and then back to cool and showery next week
