00Z GFS decided to go with the EPS idea... which was obviously going to happen eventually.

Still pretty nice overall for the next 10 days though.

Quite the blizzard developing in the western Dakotas and eastern Montana and Wyoming.    Some places could see 20+ inches of snow with 60 mph winds tomorrow.

Haven’t seen legit blizzard conditions here in 6+ years.

We’re due.

Difference is the EPS is shares the love, while the GFS confines it to your backyard.

That is not true.    The GFS spreads it around after day 9 or 10.    And its basically drier than normal through day 10.

Not that it matters because it will likely change again... but the 00Z GFS during week 2 shows the driest area relative to normal is in the Puget Sound region and in my area.    The pattern shown is similar to this past week which is not a particularly wet pattern here and certainly not focused on my area.    We end up with offshore flow at times.

The 00Z GFS definitely shares the wealth.

Planting the full garden here today and probably doing so in shorts and a t-shirt.   And no moisture issues either.  😀

Lost motivation to do anything in my yard this year…at least for now.  Out enjoying adventure away from the house seems to be the theme currently.

A little sun poking through the morning clouds. 44*

That’s awesome. When I went through central Oregon in September last year it looked pretty drought stricken. Thinking about going through that area again this summer hopefully it looks better than it did last year.

54 here. Should eventually get to 60. Looks likely April will end with less +60 days than we had in March.

North wind there?     Its 63 now in North Bend... and we still have some puffy clouds floating around.
