Nothing.  Haven't had a drink since Sunday on the deck in the sun.   My wife is at an event with my son at UW and my daughter is at a sleepover.... so that might explain my boredom.

Although... I see the rest of season 4 of Ozark just dropped!

I actually just watched Breaking Bad last year.   Could not stop watching once I started.   Then switched to Saul but it did not lock me in like Breaking Bad.    Maybe because it's a prequel so you know where his story goes.

Yes... it can beautiful for sure.    But that green period is really short there and often sullied by smoke even if its from distant sources like CA.    It would be frustrating to go from 9-10 months of snow to smoke and then back to snow.   Unless you really, really love snow.   And I think you do.  👍

All of my summer memories as a kid from Montana involve smoke.

Puget Sound area has exceptional clear air to me. Not your imagination.

Ladies, lace up your corsets and cinch your bonnets. Men, attach your suspenders and ready the family car(a conestoga wagon). Summer is going old school this year. Ye olde summer of 2022.

So I should just keep growing my tomotoes inside all summer?

Better Call Saul is pretty plot heavy compared to Breaking Bad, so it can drag on a bit. I've watched BB three times now and am running through BCS for the second time as a refresher before the sixth season.

To me they are equal in quality and depth, but with different focuses so one show may entice more than the other. I am one of the "lucky" few who enjoy both a lot. If you get the chance, you should give BCS another try! It doesn't go exactly how you expect and it adds a lot of context to his character. Also, and I can not confirm this, but I'm pretty sure the sixth season may lean into Jimmy's eventual fate after BB's story.

1999 coming up multiple times again. Also was a 3+ year niña regime. Starting to like that analog from a large scale standpoint. Also 1975 and 2001 were part of 3+ year events.

It sounds like they weren't kidding or typo regarding the DVD sized hail. Pretty crazy.

I was being facetious. I grew up in the 1980s and just about all the summers were cooler than average and wetter than average. I saw the coolest July on record in 1993 and the coolest June on record in 1991. So we don't have to go very far back to get pretty cold in the summer. I think something closer to average is pretty likely this year. Something similar to 2019 seems about right. That's just my guess.

Both are outstanding in very different ways despite the obvious similarities. You were smart to do a refresh prior to season six. With the nearly two year layoff and the fact we’ve all been mentally deconstructed during that time, it was tough jumping right back in the mix. I had to do a little sideline work to get appropriately back up to speed. Season six’s tone is a lot more intense so far…

I wasn't in the PNW in 2019, but it was a cool summer for east LA county till end of August.

It slowly started to turn into breaking bad after the 2nd season but season 5 and 6 have been great.

Green tomato summer.  I know someone who got a little too eager and transplanted his seedlings into the garden already.  They died ☠️

So many people bought flowers and vegetable starts at the Fred meyer garden center during that warm day in early April…only to have to come back 10 days later to buy everything again lol.

Good morning everyone! I didn’t watch Breaking Bad or Better Call Saul last night. Breaking Bad was sooo addictive when I watched it back in the day when it was actually airing. Haven’t watched Better Call Saul yet though. Not being able to stream sucks. Anyhow I finished my veggie garden remodel yesterday! Time to plant!
Dribbles and 46 degrees.
.16” so far on the day, 5.09” for the month.
