Running a 40/30 spread here. bulbs in the mid 30s, temps aloft cold and still cooling. could be done!

Last time we sat around the 37* (during winter) mark the mixed precipitation did not happen.  47* seems to get the job done though ….lol!

Oregon snowpack is gonna wind up better than last year at this rate. Central OR cascades looking very good, and most areas are in the 40% of average range finally. Even Tahoe is making a small comeback.

Today's my wedding anniversary and my wife said the snow was a present for me. Sure enough I went outside and took a measurement. 2.5 inches on my snowboard since 8pm last night when everything has melted. Also when did we finally add a cold emoji?

For the southern half of the mountains, hopefully. That was the first meaningful snow event since December in spots.

I think my April 2008/2011 redux name for the thread was pretty fitting! Didn’t realize how interesting this month would be at the beginning but it has not disappointed.

I figured the thread name was the jinx of the year when it was made but so far it’s worked out pretty well. If anything this month has been more impressive so far than the other two in some ways

Lots of breaks in the clouds here in Bellingham, we had a tiny bit of rain about 6am, just enough to wet the pavement.  I got my weather station back on line and we are sitting at 41 after a low of 39.  Good to see Victoria getting in on the action, looks like a decent chunk of moisture moving in for them

Made it down to 9F. The coldest April low since I have lived here.
