Mariners managed to score 9 runs and win.   Its a miracle.

They did something similar on Monday in Anaheim and then proceeded to lay an egg two games in a row in Oakland... so not convinced this slump is over yet.    They seem to do better in day games.   They are 2-5 on this road trip and the 2 wins have been during day games.

Rays are playing the Blue Jays for the next 4 days.    Rays have a 3-1 lead currently.

I guess we root for the Rays since we are 2 games back of the Blue Jays... but it gets messy.   Might have to hope for a split in the series so no team runs away with the top wild card spot.

Orioles are going to catch the Mariners.

And apparently Mariners can't hit at night.  This will be the 5th night game in the last week in which they scored 1 run.   They easily won the 2 day games.

It would be more enjoyable if the Mariners were eliminated.   Watching them choke this away over such a long period just sucks.   But that appears to be what will happen.   They don't deserve to be in the playoffs.

I am way more excited to watch the Sunday Night Football matchup over the Hawks/Falcons game. Go 9ers! (Can’t believe I just said that)

We will be on the boat tomorrow afternoon... might set DVR to record Seahawks game and will check it on my phone at times but its not worth missing an 80-degree summery day at the end of September.     And I will definitely be watching the Sunday night game and cheering hard for the 49ers.

Football season is enjoyable regardless of how my favorite team is doing. Other sports, where my team is bad, or perhaps has been stolen by David Stern and Clay Bennet, I don’t pay much attention.

Mariners just gave up 11 runs in one inning!!

Without looking, I’m guessing it’s my favorite team, the moribund Texas Rangers. Losing to the Rangers, esp giving up 11 runs in an inning is an indictment in them being bad at baseball.

Used to be such a big Wilson fan but the way he left Seattle I’m not anymore.

Me too, and I will be again some day when he retires. But until then he is the enemy!!!

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

I just don’t like the “oh I never want to leave Seattle” persona he put on while secretly trying to get out. I think there’s valid reason he’s not liked by the former LOB members and his former teammates.
