Positive spin time... Mariners magic number is down to 6.    They are probably going to make it to the playoffs but running on fumes.     The loss today was truly mind blowing though.   I actually told my wife at one point today that it was 11-2 and they got this game and she said "you never know" and I replied that the Mariners have good pitching and there is zero chance they blow a 9 run lead.    Oooops.

And the NFC West is wide open!   Rams are 2-1 and the rest are 1-2.

I just watched the Seahawks game on fast forward and stopping to watch the scores... they did not look terrible.   The offense was moving the ball much better.    The defense was not good... but the Falcons did not score in the 4th quarter.   And they didn't get blown out.   It looked better than I was expecting.

Geno just needs some of that late game magic, otherwise played WAY better than Wilson. Don’t know about the defense…That was rough.

For the Mariners, let’s get the playoff monkey off our backs.  Anything beyond that is gravy. They are building a good team that should be competitive for a while.

For the Seahawks, this year is a throwaway. Need to hit the QB lottery in the 2023 draft.

You should want the Huskies to be a good as possible for when Oregon beats them later in the year.    It benefits your team when you beat good opponents.

Geno has been way better than Wilson in the first half of games…We just need him to get some of that 4th quarter Wilson magic going.
