Seems a bit harsh for Oregon to get dropped out of the top 25 at number 11 after getting beaten by the defending champs.

It was a bad beat, but should've still remain top 25 imo... at least 24 or 25.

They did not look like a top 25 team. Curious to see how they respond against E. Washington.

This is funny.

May be an image of 3 people, people playing football and text that says 'Imagine getting excited for the NFL season when this is literally your starting QB: AE'

Sort of relaxing in a way... with zero expectations.    Any win will be a pleasant surprise.

It's fun to watch sports, but being a fan of any team is the definition of being a tool.

Yeah, I sort of root for them. I won't deny I watch/follow sports, and I hate that I do. It is a completely worthless pursuit.

Its just entertainment. But I also take it way too seriously at times.  You were expressing lots of frustration in the weather thread on Saturday when the Ducks were getting destroyed.  I think you more than 'sort of' root for them.

And one mention of the Seahawks and you start complaining, but you made more than one Ducks post in there on Saturday.  And most of us care about the Ducks about as much as you care about the Seahawks.

Let's take stock of sports in our family's sphere:

1. Son lost his football game yesterday

2. Twins have lost 6 of their past 7

3. Seahawks will probably lose in resounding fashion tonight

Luckily the Vikings handily beat GB yesterday. Otherwise, nothing but shortfalls to report.

Wilson got boo'd by the crowd. Kind of surprising, but also not really cause it's Seattle and our fan base is kinda temperamental.

I think you'd see the same thing in any city, given the circumstances. Not a ton of comps, either.

17 points in first half... better than waiting for Russ to start playing in the 3rd quarter as became the norm in recent years.
