Front Ranger
Ended up with about 3" of accumulation from the storm. The heaviest precip fell during the warmest part of the day yesterday, which prevented bigger accumulations in Denver. TT-SEA
12Z ECMWF shows clearing on Sunday and a nice Memorial Day. Maybe the timing will speed up. There is a trough on Friday and Saturday... but the troughing does not seem to be just parked over the PNW. It's a fairly progressive pattern and does not look too bad overall. Correlates to -NAO. Troughing at both coasts and a ridge over the Central US is how this typically plays out. When convection gets deeper into the IO then it becomes a cooler signal in the PNW. 3 Quote Live Weather Cam: https://www.youtube.com/live/KxlIo8-KVpc?si=xKLCFYWbZieAfyh6 PWS Wunderground https://www.wunderground.com/dashboard/pws/KMDBETHE62 PWS CWOP/NOAA: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=F3819&hours=
