haha dogs will eat anything! kind of had it coming eating a funny smelling wrapper on the ground. honestly it cracks me up. he's already acting more 'normal', jumping on the couch and eating and drinking again.

I wasn't there for it at the time, but apparently earlier he couldn't figure out how to keep his head upright! little guy was zonked

Good news there.

Aaaand we have a winner! Bonus points for the stellar title.

All preference war discussion shall be had here. Please try to stick to that.

I want to thank the academy, my agent, my family and the rest of the cast for all of their love and support even when I didn't think I could make a forum topic, and I want to thank my mom for taking me to all of those forum topic making classes when I was a kid.  This is for you guys!!!!!!

Had a nice afternoon for soccer today, sunny and about 65-68 with clouds over the mountains.  I heard the teams on the field next to us call for a water break.  LOL!   What the hell are they going to do when it gets 80+ this summer?!  🙄🙄🙄

Same. It amazes me how many people have no idea how dangerous they are.

Yeah, I’d heard of it before but always thought it was a perfect storm kind of thing. My son had left a bag in the computer room and religiously closed the door because of my daughter’s cat. The cat HATED him for some reason and would go do his business in there when he could. The dog was a chow hound and only had access for maybe 10 minutes. That was a bad day…

My biggest fear! I always do a double check of the entire house before I leave to make sure everything is out of paws reach. That only increased after Matt mentioned that a while back. I’m a bit of a helicopter dog parent. They have no excuses to get into our food when I spend plenty of money shipping hairy ears and tracheas (along with other yummys) to the house each month, lol!

My in laws always feed the dogs things you read never to feed dogs. Like giant bags of old bones they freeze and then thaw out and bring over. They seem to love it... Though I don’t approve.

I have to admit my wife is far more militant about it than I am. I was jaded by the fact that growing up with a lab who had the iron gut of iron guts. Best was the six foot (give or take) length of rope he managed to eat. That was a fun lesson about the canine gastrointestinal system.

Our lab will turn 16 this year.   He is slowing down but still gets extremely excited to go on a walk.

You would think one of the days should end up ok.  That having been said the models have gone downhill for the weekend as a whole.  Hard to believe some people think it's weenieish to want a nice holiday weekend.

Sounds like you've had some wild experiences with your dogs eating things they shouldn't.  We have only had cats, but our youngest one managed to eat one of my sons anti seizure pills when she was a kitten.  She got very woozy but came out of it fine.

New euro would get us over 4” of rain this month breaking the record for wettest May here (2005 to present). We will see how this afternoons run looks. sea-tac record is 4.76” in 1948…not going to get there but could get to 2nd place all time.

If anything it seems like it’s been very boom or bust recently. Either less than an inch or 3+ inches here recently.

If you look at the probabilities I'm pretty sure seeing 3 of the top 7 driest months in a 7 year period (out of a 78 year period of record) is less likely than seeing 7 of the top 10 wettest months in a 22 year period, but both have been more extreme. As mentioned above, more like a boom or bust.

Filtered sun here and 54.     No low clouds yet... just some high clouds.    There is rain approaching the coast now but the models show it falling apart as it moves inland.     Assuming that will still bring in more low level moisture this afternoon.

This month won’t finish colder than the 51.2 average set in 2011…currently at 51.9 this month. Definitely have a shot at 4” of rain. At the very least this month is already wetter than March (2.98”) and should end up wetter than April (3.63”). So this spring atleast at this location got wetter as it went on.
