That 98 on the Fox12 7-day forecast seems like a pipe dream to me.

22c with decent offshore flow, which is what Brexit is showing, can get it done. I think 95 is more likely though. Hopefully Mark will join the phorecast contest.

Just a special GFS run.

One way or another I'll be posting up at the Mt. Angel Fireworks. It's a good show, my niece and nephew live by Cook Park in Tigard, but they come down to Mt. Angel because no one does it like the Trojans.

Good to know of a great place to go to.

I feel for you man. I regularly use a sauna so I guess that's why heat doesn't affect me much. I definitely try to stay hydrated as much as I can and drink extra water during the summer. Once it gets 90+ I also start avoiding fluids that dehydrate you, like alcohol and caffeinated drinks. That seems to help a lot.

I love a cold Diet Coke on a hot day, but yeah, definitely not smart to drink those when perspiring heavily.

In fact the last time heat exhaustion got me I had been drinking a soda in the hour beforehand. Started feeling cold and stopped sweating, then got dizzy. All within like 5 minutes. Wake up call for sure, it can hit hard and fast.

76 with blazing sun here. For the first time this warm season it feels like summer out there. No need for vitamin D pills today, I got a carcinogenic dose just sitting on the back porch!

Thanks!  Every home in Tacoma has a similar view. We manufacture the stench near the Tacoma Dome to discourage outsiders from exiting the freeway, learning the truth and overrunning our little paradise.

I used to work in landscaping with a guy who pounded those Sparks energy beers all day. I didn’t notice what he was always drinking until one day when we were driving somewhere in the work truck and I realized he was drunk... 😳

First day of summer dinner was a freshly picked salad from the garden and a cold beer on the deck with the umbrella tilted for shade and the sound of birds and a distant lawn mower.   Doesn't get any better on the longest day of the year.

Forecasted for 71F.  We hit 68F today.  The long term forecast is looking too sunny for my liking honestly.  It also gets too warm with no real idea if it will cool down beyond those days. I truly dislike the summer months when we go weeks without rainfall.  It's sad to see the greenery fade to yellow. I hope this last bit of rain showers does a good job, because it might be weeks or months before we see it again. I have no AC, hence why I don't like heat.

Fortunately for you…you live in one of the cooler locations in the PNW during the summer. Even cooler than here most days it seems based on your reports.

I sure hope we don't have a repeat of 1988. I don't think Yellowstone can handle a 500 year flood AND devastating fires within 2 months of each other.

Thankfully this month has played out much differently than June 1988 out here so hopefully we continue that trend throughout.
