12Z GFS... improvements for the 4th.    Much better than the mid 50s and all day rain it was showing yesterday.

we're seriously due for some mid-major earthquakes around here.

Yeah it’s been really quiet for a long time was thinking about this the other day. I think we see some type of earthquake here in the next 3 years. Maybe not a 6.0+ But atleast something.

I hope we don't have a really dry July/August/September this year, fire season could be bad if it dries out like that

Ended up with a very nice 72/56 day here yesterday. Morning clouds giving way to sun by mid afternoon. A decent 20+ degree drop from the day before, in terms of high temp.

Mostly cloudy with a low of 58 this morning. Currently partly cloudy and 63. Should be another very pleasant day.

I mean hell, the 99/68 day PDX posted on Sunday would have been pretty top tier for late June, before last year came along and blew climo out of the water.

Just think what we would have thought if it happened in 2005.

It seems the rest of the world is experiencing stuff in the same ballpark as what we saw last June. If not just to taunt us and remind us that it’s just a matter of time before it happens again here.

But I would rather worry about some light rain that could potentially stave off fire danger for another few weeks messing up my boating plans.
