Pretty chilly out there, down to 47°F under a clear sky here.

KSEA dropped to 51°F briefly but back up to 54°F on the 2am update. They’ll probably dip back below the inversion another couple times before the June sun radiates the land once more.

Headed to Chelan area around the last week of June.  Could be the coldest dreariest trip the family has taken there in many years.

If I had to guess... the last week of June will probably be quite a bit better than what we are seeing during the first half of the month.

Not sure this was shared, but it is beautiful. Little chance of verification though?

Difference between EURO and 06z GFS here is 4.45" to 1.68", both do deliver some goods and get us above average for the month. I do notice the GFS is pretty dry compared to its ensembles.

On the other hand... The EURO does not seem to be an outlier among its ensembles.

In that Ag Weather video I posted... he has a map that shows the huge deficit in sunlight compared to normal reaching the surface across all of the PNW in the last month or more and specifically talks about it.

43 here this morning. Severe clear conditions. I have never seen the vegetation explode with growth the way it has over the past week. Still several weeks later than the past few years, but absolutely beautiful. Yesterday evening was gorgeous too as skies cleared after the heavy morning rain.

Clear and 54 this morning after a low of 46, which was the coolest of the month so far. Another beautiful morning.

I think you should spend your day inside complaining about how cloudy it has been and how it might rain this weekend.

I will be outside as much as my schedule allows today and tomorrow.    And still talk about what the models show going forward.     That is what we do here Andrew.

Wish it would go right into southern Oregon and California where it’s needed. We (northern Snohomish Co) do not need it.

Trending in the right direction down here. Doubles totals from the 06z. Still a lot of work to do, but the ensembles are leading the way!

The wetter the better. I wouldn’t mind seeing the focus of the rain further south but that’s still pretty decent down in Oregon better than nothing.

Another hint for the GFS.

That ridge up near the Yukon is at least overdone, possibly flat out wrong. Should be much flatter.
