Says Terrible Traffic Cam Tim.

Thunder? Nope, the I-90 cam didn't catch it and that person is a fucking piece of shit liar.

Snow sticking to the pavement? Nope, the I-5 Tukwila cam says that not only is it bare and wet, that the person reporting is a stupid fucking Mid Atlantic basement dweller who is too focused on surpassing my trolling skillz and not focused on his pathetic excuse of a continental climate.

The forsaken one is back.

PDX made it all the way through spring without hitting 80 once. Even if the all time record stands that is still a pretty significant feat. In the PDX era this is the ninth year since 1941 to pull that off, the others being 1955, 1960, 1974, 1977, 1991, 1996, 2010, and 2011.

Definitely! I just wanted to see another record lol.

Here too…the lightning tracker site I usually use is being weird though and I can’t see if it’s producing lightning. It is getting dark here.

New CANSIPS is out. Shockingly, it projects a legitimately cool/wet July *and* August in the PNW/BC.

That model is almost always warm/dry up there in mid/late summer. Can’t recall it ever projecting a cool/troughy August. Something must be different this year.. ⛈

It is so hot and this dorm room has no AC-- bad time to have to focus on writing papers 😬 I am fervently praying for a stray thunderstorm to knock the temp down

@T-Town you might have the best shot at seeing the storm looks like it might move west of Tacoma.
Just started raining here. I’d go to the west side to capture some photos but I’ve had hot/cold chills all d*mn day from this bug I’ve caught 😂

81 at PDX.

6/12/2010 rests easy.

Squeaked by with a 79º here!

If the models verify, I could have my first 80º+ and my first 90º+ on the same day, around the 10th or 11th, depending on how the timing of the warm-up plays out.

I like how in 2022 the EBS efforts from the NWS sound like they’re played on a 1920’s phonograph in a large concrete hallway.

Only 2°F warmer than it was at my place! Not much of an N-S gradient today.

Last year June 2nd was the earliest 95+ degree day ever at KLMT. Fun memoreez.

For what it's worth, I have only maxed out at 91 up to this point in KY. It'll get hotter than this I'm sure later.

New Euro weeklies. Forcing sticks around in the E-Hem heading into July. Looks almost exactly like the cold phase Niña composite.

It does seem like everyone has COVID again. Our family is dealing with a cold AND we were recently exposed to COVID, but according to these home tests it is NOT COVID. Hope everyone is well.

There has been a "cold" going around work, took me out for a few days.

Well the thunder turned into a deluge that maxed out at 2.6" per hour rate. Got .94" out of it. Not bad for a drought-laden desert.

Wow. That’s a lot. We got 0.3 in about 15 minutes and it seemed torrential. West coast weenies

Power and water in this afternoon and the trench (mostly) filled in, in between the quick downpours this afternoon. Next up will be prepping where the RV pad is going to be…Whenever the rain stops again. Have I mentioned yet just how much I love my tractor?
Currently 58 after a high of 72.
.03” on the day, .20” for the month.
