It shows less rain than the last few runs and it lifts out a little faster than the 00Z run. And most of the precip (2.9”) fell on 1 night, due to training thunderstorms. Earth soaked it up like a dry sponge. The rest (~1.5”) fell in 2 other brief t-storms. Safe to say, the biosphere ain’t happy right now. For June: SEA: -0.9 with 184.1% normal rainfall. PDX: +0.9 with 189.6% normal rainfall. So around average temperatures with almost double the normal rainfall. I’ve talked about this before… but 90 degrees here or pretty much anywhere on the high plateau from Bend to Tahoe legit doesn’t feel hot at all.
