NWbyNW
It hit 76F as a high today. The long range forecasts for Everett show no 90s. It's looks pretty reasonable in the 80s. So everyone is welcome to cool off over here. I believe there are some free concerts on the waterfront next week and the farmers market on Wednesday and Sunday on the waterfront too. By the time this heatwave passes (which hopefully continues to look less and less impressive) those sun angles will be even lower I am pretty sure this will be the worst of the heat this summer. Will probably be due for a warm up in the second half of august but by then the sun angles will start having an impact. 1

snow_wizard
I just marvel at horrible the GFS is on surface temps for Seattle. The 18z had SEA hitting 89 today and they only made 84 in reality. Looking at the maps for the entire region it appears the warm bias is really magnified over Western King County for some reason. Other places look much closer to reality. Whatever they did to give the warm bias to the Central Puget Sound they need to fix it. 1 1 Quote Death To Warm Anomalies!
