SEA is way exposed and a slight shifting of the winds will cause this SEA has gone down after that too to match some of the surrounding areas… like BFI maintaining its consistency in the mid-80s range. this is why I will always trust the BFI station more.

Correct but the point I was trying to make was that SEA will have not these random fluctuations in temps that isn’t really a representation of the surrounding areas. Renton is right on lake Washington so I always think they run a bit low compared to everywhere else but I could be wrong. Maybe that’s offset by it being a big concrete surface or maybe the sensor is actually at the south end far enough away it doesn’t matter.
