Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

Yeah seems that the marine influence will mean cooler overnight lows closer to the chehalis gap in the mornings and overall cooler starts…but by the time the afternoon heating gets cranking it won’t matter in the interior. As for hitting 6 consecutive +90s…I’d say there’s a noteable chance we get there Sunday but we will see.

Saturday would be six. Sunday would be seven and would put a crimp in my family gathering plans. Which would be uncool (pun sort of intended).

Since records began at SEA in 1945, there have been 9 years with at least seven 90 degree days. 5 of them have been in the 7 years since 2015 and this year will likely make it 6 of 8. Crazy how things have changed.

I think Saturday would be 5 actually although I can’t remember. I don’t believe they hit 90 on Monday think it was 87.

Most +90s I’ve seen at my house in a year is 5 in 2009,2015 and 2021. We should be at 6 on Saturday. I’m near the water too so that many is pretty hard to pull off especially 5 consecutively. We’ve still got august too…

And every spring we talk about 1954 and 1955.   Even with the current ENSO situation... we end up with a top tier hot July.

Yeah La Niña ENSO whatever it doesn’t matter anymore. Summers are just warmer now. Atleast here in the Seattle area it’s still not bad overall the default is mid 70s-low 80s. We really only get like 10-15 days a year even nowadays where it’s really hot

Maybe this is PNW’s cycle of dust bowl summers. Every region has that one decade that really f**king sucks.

What a splendid beautiful sunny day from the heavens.  My lord.  Wow!

Summer is here in The Swamp and we are sitting at a most comfortable 93.

Isn't this great guys?

Before you know it it will be raining and gray.  Get out and go streaking if you can.  Just live in the moment.

Ehhh... this covers our entire trip.    Next week will probably be similar to what we have here now.   Low 90s with a dewpoint around 70 at the peak.   Not bad if you are on a lake.

That looks a little cool compared to some runs.

But yeah, stay submerged the whole time and it should be tolerable.

I'd tend to agree with that Saturday forecast with the marine push. I think Friday has a shot at 105-106 though.

105-106??!! I'm hoping that doesn't happen, did something change about Friday that is making that heat possible?

I was just keeping the RIP theme going.

In Jesse's case, it would undoubtedly be heatstroke.

A different user here had a pretty scary brush with heat stroke yesterday. Sounds like they had to be hospitalized.

Models have focused the warmest 850’s to Friday and also broadened the thermal trough a bit. 105+ is a stretch but low 100’s looks like a good bet.

The dewpoints are not all that low with this heat wave. I notice how easily I sweat when working outside.

Looks like Hillsboro had a dew of 70 in the last 24 hours. That’s pretty sticky for the PNW (or really anywhere west of 100°W). It’s hotter in central OR but at least they have single digit RH.
