My weather app says Minneapolis will see a low of 82 Tuesday. WTF.

Grotesque. Warm overnight lows are worse than hot days IMO. That nighttime relief is so important, for many reasons.

Nothing worse than struggling to drop below 80°F at night, then immediately spiking into the mid/upper 80s by 930AM. Worst thing about summer here.

Lol, that or I just have no filter. 😂 Don’t actually feel anger towards anyone here. At least not since Kevin Martin.

There’s definitely a bit I haven’t noticed any smell at the surface myself though. There’s definitely a little smoke getting down to the surface making a haze but not too bad. Just too d*mn hot.

Yessir. Getting a nice breeze off the water here now so that may put a cap on things for us.

These 12z models are bleak. Now things really are being pushed back indefinitely....

Monday and Tuesday appear to have lost any marine influence and are now progged to sniff the mid-upper 80s on the GFS.

And that big trough in the midweek? It clips us, much weaker than in previous runs, then it's back to torching for the weekend.

This is so so bad right now. I can't sleep well without drowing in a pool of sweat. I don't have the money for an AC yet, not that supply would be available anyways, or that shipping would even get it here in time. It's like 80F where my bed is, and it'll probably get worse. The only other times it was like this? July 2015, and June 2021.

Get rid of the summer. fffff this season

86F here and headed for near 90 again. Less smoke than Oregon and Washington right now but I'm afraid that is about to change. Drive safe!

I don't expect any relief until September at this point.

Skies south of Portland look rich for development, or maybe it's just smoke.

Looks like mostly virga so far as has modeled. Southerly flow increases as the day wears on though which should start to at least bring the clouds further north.

In a cell phone pocket so posting a couple fun pictures. This particular cell was upstream as I was hiking but still very small at the time and I kept and eye on the radar.  Boy did it grow fast though once I was off trail. Just beautiful out here

Hillsboro up to 101 and Scappoose up to 102. Clear skies for both of them with N winds. Scappoose might be the hot spot across the PDX Metro area today.

Wow it’s definitely a few degrees cooler down here today.
