I don't think many people do. As for the GFS. It's one of many tools in the box as I like to say.

Since the weather has been so boring I've been planning out my trip to Oman. No snow there but very interesting geography. On the SE Corner there's a stretch that abruptly changes from rocky mountains to lines of parallel sand dunes. It's like the snow of the desert, people plan trips to go there for sandboarding and off-roading regardless of what the long range GFS shows

I'm fine with some real weather returning, even if it's of the warm variety. I'm bored of scraping ice off my windshield. Midlevel clouds prevented an inversion from forming in Seattle tonight, so leaving work wasn't nearly as painful.
