Possibly unprecendented dry here!

.02" in 43 days

.64" in 56 days

6.4" in 190 days

Soon will be just 6.4" in 7 full months!

I dont know which stat is more history making?

Probably the 6.4" if it reaches 7 or 8 months

I understand. We’re in the same position. We got a trace from this last “rain” that arrived.  It’s unbelievably dry.
What we’d do to get a week of real rain.
High of 72* today.
How awful it will be as temps climb without moisture.

Wouldn't be surprised if a Fire Advisory gets issued for your area, if not already released to the public. Wow! Just horrible!

That western ridge can suck it.  Bring on El Nino.

This summer is going to be beyond brutal at times.  We have been setting record highs about every 3 weeks.

I pray for it.  Texas is SO dry the birds are spitting cotton.
I don’t know how the wild animals manage. Small streams are dry.  I put water out but we need real rain.

Any information on El Niño ?

NOAA's precipitation outlook is predicting "equal chances" for rainfall over the winter months in North Texas.

Most of the Metroplex and parts of East Texas and the Panhandle are also showing "equal chances" for precipitation. For the rest of the state, below normal precipitation is expected.
______________

This is their cop-out, stinko forecast that says it’s going to be a seriously lousy spring as rain goes, and a baker’s oven summer.
Killing us with kindness.

When will this stop?

Texas/Okla need some rain.
This isn’t funny anymore.

Never say Never with Weather, because anything is possible!

All observations are in Tecumseh, OK unless otherwise noted

Can my area pls get some severe weather!! No..not wind gusts of 40 mph and a downpour and call it quits followed by sunshine and calm winds w fair weather & hazy clouds in the distance , along w humidity and birds chirping. I mean..some wild weather, (80mph winds, large hail, isolated F0 tornado, maybe 1 and vivid lightning w very loud thunder ) that will shake my chair. D**n it! I miss.... "OLD FASHION SEVERE WEATHER."🤨
