And the Eugene/Springfield metro area wasn’t even forecast to get any thunderstorms. They literally blew up in like an hour.

I hope you finally saw your bolts. I saw at least 50 of them but I was standing outside like an Oregon idiot.

That's wild, I don't think I've ever witnessed a hail stone that big here in CO.

I'd imagine some damage to cars and roofs.

I had a few stones 1" in Klamath Falls 8/5/2020. That was their last severe t'storm warning even, on that day.

Here I'm waiting for my first official hailstorm in northeastern KY.

Flower's are bloomin' this year!  How is everyone else's gardens doing?  Flowers here are great, my strawberries are doing great, my hot chili peppers are doing great, onions, sweet chard, lettuce, rhubarb are doing good, but my tomatoes aren't doing a whole lot, nor my figs or blueberries.

Nice!! My landscaping color has struggled a bit this season due to the cold wet spring. The heavy wet snow in April also did a number to it. And my Blueberries have been way slower to ripen. Last year everything was pumping color and veggie garden wise. However the blackberry bushes have gone insane this year.

How are you liking your new climate?

It's not bad. I like that we get rainfall on a dependable basis throughout the year.

Summers are not as hot as the deep south.

Just wait til the regular season…this is a nice dress rehearsal for the amount of cigarettes and weed that will need to be smoked after viewing cold and snowy model runs in the fall-winter.

Any tips for starting blueberries? I have a "rare for USA" variety that I failed to get the seeds to germinate on twice already.

I might try to squeeze in a couple hours but this is such a rare occurrence (even rarer than snow sometimes) gotta stay up and track it.

And for snow I usually just wake up and see how much I get, can't really do that for thunderstorms!

Really hard for me to sleep during convective or snow events. First half of February 2019 was rough on the sleep schedule.

All of Feb 2019 was balls to the wall insanity on some of those model runs.

Feb 2019 was annoying here for the first storms trending north and the second ones at the end of the month trending south but I still managed an inch on the 4th and around 3" on the 25th which was nice.

My blueberries and strawberries did well this year. Tomatoes are taking off but still need a lot of time to ripen. My garden is still being put in so I expect next year or the next it'll be a jungle.

We did amazing here. 22” of snow that month. Then some light non accumulating snows a few times in the second half of the month and 1” of snow in early March. Just was an amazing stretch of winter weather. Could be a long time before we see something like that again.

23" is crazy! I'm wasn't too annoyed though because we did have 18" of snow here 2 winters beforehand and a lot of it stuck around for a good bit of time while most of the Sound didn't get that much. However it would be nice to see 7"+ in the next few winters we haven't had that since then.
