Cheap seats tonight... caught a little bit of the sunset but angle is wrong from here.   Warm evening... no hint of any chill even well after dark.    Perfection.

You almost caught a no-no as well… would’ve been quite an experience. Too bad it didn’t come through.

I saw a perfect game in person once. My brother had the chance to come with me that day but declined. He regrets it.

I would guess he saw this one: “The most recent perfect game for MLB was on August 15, 2012, Félix Hernández of the Seattle Mariners fought against the Tampa Bay Rays.[13] He struck out the side twice and struck out twelve total batters in a 1–0 victory.” (Wikipedia)

Pretty boring here. Was better if you got like Salem north.

That was during the stretch where we had like 12” of snow over a 15-year span.

Since then we’ve had like 55” in 10 years.

No snow during the Nov 2010 blast? or March 2011? I remember the snow levels being down to 1000' in the Sierra during the March 2011 storm series

Pretty chilly for the afternoon in the summer.   The WA coast is your kind of place.

Mine was in Oakland where Dallas Braden  (from NorCal) threw one against the Rays on Mother's Day in 2010 with his grandma present. I also saw a near no-no in 07 where Curt Schilling and Boston was one out from no hitting the A's in a 1-0 game. That game was even more dominant.

Anyway about the weather it will be interesting to see convection today in EWA  Tonight is back to school night here too. My son said he loves summer weather though lol.

Has anybody else not left their state of residence since 2018? I haven’t left Oregon since May of 2018 and that’s the longest amount of time I’ve ever gone without leaving the state I lived in.

Me, I think with the exception of going down to Umatilla the last time I was in Tri-cities.  We have travelled across the country and I have been to almost 30 states, but we like it right here.  Be happy you are in Oregon, it could be a WHOLE lot worse.

My health condition unfortunately makes it difficult to leave Oregon since I can’t work.

I mostly stay quiet about it, but I also cannot work because of my health.  But I feel lucky to be able to be at home and try to enjoy my life.  Please look at what you have vs not have.  BTW, Today is the first day since Saturday that I even feel like leaving the house.  Been feeling crappy.  But still grateful.

That would be a big regret! My biggest one was leaving the infamous “Fail Mary” game since my friend and I left the game right beforehand to beat some traffic…The stadium erupted as we were in the parking lot…
