Yes according to the National Weather Service the airport has AWOS

Yeah that would be the better one to go by esp being that close. Sometimes I walk to nearby stations that report cooler or warmer than mine to see if there really is a difference

Looks like SEA just had a 70+ degree low for only the third time in history.    Dropped to 71 at 5 a.m. and now back to 73 at 6 a.m.

But 90 might end up being a stretch today given how thick the clouds are this morning.    I am not sure there will be enough clearing.    The ECMWF went from showing 100 at PDX today down to 91 on the 06Z run.

It's absurdly warm outside right now. 69F here, probably going to be the coolest we get tonight. 71F the low at KSEA, pretty absurd.

The three other times KSEA started out the day in the 70s, it reached 103F, 104F, and 108F. Not going to get that hot but the column surely isn't thermally starved this morning. High clouds pretty much the only thing stopping a massive overperformance up to around 100F, of which there are plenty to go around.

Going to be a pretty weird day in WA, with extremely hot overnight lows and interestingly mediocre highs around 87-93F, alongside a chance of precip or even some lightning.

The way you guys talk about overnight lows leaves me seething with envy more and more each year.

This is possibly the healthiest La Niña VP200 signature I’ve ever seen at this time of year.

Quite the disconnect between the tropics and extratropics right now w/ respect to satellite era climatology.

Cloudy but warming up fast. Did not cool down nearly so much last night as the previous one.

Portable A/C is staged and ready to set up. Have a feeling it will be in service by noon.

Yeah. I woke up at 3am and it was still 72 out. Probably going to be quite humid today too.

75 here and mostly sunny DP 64. Feels nasty already. Definitely think were gonna get there here this afternoon.

Low of 65°F. Already 78°F a few minutes before 10:00 am, despite the clouds. Don’t understand why some are so sure we won’t reach 90°F west of the Cascades today. It’s easily achievable.
