Thunder snow here coming down good.

I think you'll hang onto the snow for awhile. Warm air looks like it is stuck in N IL for the time being.

Experienced  the  coldest thunderstorm  I've ever experienced exciting times temperature hovering in mid 30

ive experienced thunderstorms in the upper 20's and lower 30's in kansas, severe storms at that (hail)

pretty awesome getting storms at those temps, although snow would be much much better

Starting off now with light snow and sleet.

Thinking more counties in SE WI could be added to the advisory.

Those are some pretty impressive sounding drifts.

Pouring sleet and some snowflakes right now. Ground coated. 34°

WBadgersW, I think you'll be mainly snow with this. Thinking it will dry slot before you get into the mild air.

Local law enforcement says 15-16 inches right now at noon, though how could you measure, with reports of 10 foot or higher drifts in rural areas and people stranded in rural areas. Will have to get more information if that is on highways or county gravel roads. Local TV station said 15.1 inches in my area and about that in Kearney Hastings and grand island

That low has not really moved from Salina for 4 hours.

Pressure falls indicate it will start moving pretty soon, and shoot straight east for a ways.

Sure hope so, I'd like to get another inch or two before this wrap-around completely dies out.  Stupid dry air.

We'll have to see about tomorrow. Hi-res do show snow sweeping into the area for several hours.

Pressure falls indicate an 80° vector for the low direction.

Just had a thunder sleet and/or hail shower.
