Not sure what you're trying to say?

We had already purchased all the punch, cake, streamers, hats, hired the DJ (DJ Droppin, of course) and rented the American Legion Hall for the pattern change party and now we don't know what to do!

I'm still confused on whether you think I think I believe the pattern will change or not, but I'll go with the flow because I don't want to look dumber than I already do. So, let's have that party   because I believe in a pattern change for the entire US ahead!

Any excuse to have a party is fine by me!  We'll even invite the CFS even though you KNOW he's gonna end up hitting on someone's wife or something.

They already showed this image on ESPN.

Her looks sums it up.  She was both surprised and embarrassed for him.

He did a make a hell of a play there though.  Crabtree had him beat and that was lights out if he didn't get a hand on it.

Seahawks probably lost 50 million fans in the Super Bowl in that 30-second interview.

The next two weeks may drive Jesse to the brink.  Super bowl hype and the fact we *could* be pressing crunch time for winter weather by then if nothing's on the horizon.

I think it'd be nice if everyone could drop him a line and express their support.

I think I'll be just fine. Too much positive stuff going on in my real life to worry a lot about this forum or sports talk. Appreciate your concern, though. :)

Almost to much negative stuff and toxic stress in my life to handle the Seahawks making the super bowl. Now I get to hear at least two more weeks of their super annoying fans.

They can't hold a candle to Ducks fans.    There is nothing more annoying than a Ducks fan.     Super inferiority complex down there.

Let's not wildly stereotype people based on where they are from and who they support, ok? Now there is a sports section if you really want to discuss it.

I have been very confused by the SEA observations constantly reporting fog... even when web cams don't show it.     Even more enforced right now since I was just at the airport and its just cloudy there and yet the observation shows 1/2 mile visibility in fog.

How cold? where can I find the ensemble image you post? is it a pay site?

Are you looking for this one?

You can select what variable you want to see and which date the forecast was issued from here.

18z is horrible - ridging hangs strong for a few more days and then the trough digs offshore.

I think we can just about take late January and early February off the table.

What is the next guess???

I say next December.    Any takers?

Mother Nature is a cruel mistress..I was feeling pretty good about things given the tropics favoring the development of an Aleutian ridge. But the stratosphere isn't cooperating right now, on many levels..the PV will probably remain over eastern Canada as the higher POV maxima in the upper levels is pushed E of Greenland and will be forced farther from the pole by the upcoming stratwarm/WBB event..so it will try to stack in Eastern Canada but meet the shear zone, throwing a ridge over the pole, stretching the maxima and beating down the SE ridge.

So, the +AO days will be fewer and farther between going forward..with a legit -AO possible by mid February.
