Temperature fall of about 18° in 20 minutes. Down to 44°. Had some downpours this morning but that's been it so far. WI should be clear of any real severe wx.

Mercer Island, 350 ft

2021-2022: 11.6", 02/21

2020-2021: 15.6"

2019-2020: ~10"

2018-2019 winter snowfall total: 29.5"

2017-2018: 9.0", 2016-2017: 14.0"

I picked up 0.68" of rain from a nice line late last evening.  I'm still waiting for some good lightning/thunder.

season snowfall: 34.8"

Average snowfall: ~30"

It was a decent afternoon here. Around 50° with partly sunny skies for the most part. 3.20" of water for the month, 5.4" of that was snow.

While not yet official yet but looking back at March 2016 here in Grand Rapids, MI the average high was 49.7° the average low as 31.4° the mean was 40.6° (+5.0°) there was 10.1” of snow for the month the warmest was 71° on the 8th and the coldest was +6 on the 4th

We ended up +8.0 and .96" below normal for precip(1.03). Only had 2 days of snowfall and both days were trace amounts. Nearly ended up with what I believe would have been only the 6th March ever recorded with no measurable snowfall.

 

Since November when I consider winter "kind of" starting and through March, we've been 6.2, 8.1, .8, 6.1, and 8 degrees above normal. We were over 5" above normal for precip for the first 2 months, and since January we're about 1.6" below normal for precip.

Man thats a torchy winter for you guys.  In the end this season was one of the easier forecasts on record for most mets.
