Kayla agreed. Feel like my assumption of her preferences was pretty apt.

On an added note, I love being uncomfortable. The feeling of abject pain and smothering dampness brings a chattering smile to my withered face.

90 is uncomfortable!

Does he hand out apologies for other weather that is miserably uncomfortable... like cold sideways rain for weeks on end?  😀

He doesn’t cause our preferences dislike heat. Cold rain sounds AMAZING right about now and it appears that’s exactly what will be greeting me in Germany next week.

Yeah... June 2021 sucked hard.

On a positive note... guess the Cougs scored!

The fire burning in far NE Oregon (believe it is the Double Creek fire) is ripping through acreage tonight it would appear. Pretty massive hot spot currently. Lots of activity in Idaho tonight as well.

Six straight for the Mariners. I feel like I’m reluctantly, tentatively, foolishly starting to believe.

Ehhh, ya know, having a starting rotation with a combined. 0.97 ERA doesn't hurt either.

Add to the fact they're only second behind the Dodgers for best team in MLB since June.

00Z GFS showing 100 at PDX by Friday now... the mid-week trough completely splitting allows for another ridge to pop up.

Would be the latest on record if that happens, and it shows at least 3 90 degree days so that would beat 2015 and be just 1 90 degree day behind 2018 (31)

Its the GFS... ,so probably too warm.   But the 500mb pattern is totally different on this run than the 12Z and 18Z runs and much more ridgy.

Then the 00Z GFS goes with 95 at SEA on Saturday.    And this is a pattern that the GFS does pretty well in terms of temp output with no marine influence and full sun.

But its probably a moot point because the ECMWF will be totally different.

The GFS does mostly fine here I think, at least better than Seattle I'm guessing. The 18z today was forecasting 77 here today and that's what PDX hit.
