85/59 here in Fife, smoke here now blocking out the sun and becoming more orange as we head towards sunset. Can't imagine what it's like in the heaviest smoke at Index and Baring, you guys stay safe!

I am not sure how bad tomorrow will be in Seattle.   If you watch the satellite loop you can see the main plume moving north but at the source down in Oregon the smoke is already blowing off to the NE so there won't be much new smoke added overnight.    It looks like the main plume will be north of the Seattle area by morning.

92 for a high at SEA... no rounding necessary to secure the record.

The last hoorah for the 13th 90° day and we actually pull it off even with smoke? That's impressive.

It's crazy to think the old record of 12 days could've been shattered had we actually reached 90 on those days that came close to it.

Look at all the smoke pooling and swirling off in the Pacific!  Smoke plume is also moving closer to the Puget Sound. Idaho is a soupy mess right now as it Alberta.

So once the offshore flow ceases, all that smoke over the sea will blow into our faces for a while.

It's called clown range for a reason.

KPTV's fire smoke model shows the air quality improving tomorrow morning with most areas clear of smoke down here west of the Cascades by the evening. Not looking good for Bend though.

Looks like we will need to head east for outdoor activities while we’re in bend this week.

Very possible.  Models are showing the Low that it is spinning around all the smoke will go up the Pacific a bit to about halfway through the middle point of BC, then possible come back down south towards Washington and Oregon.  So it could hit us a few times, but hopefully by then the smoke will be so dissipated it won't be anything.

Updated satellite imagery shows the smoke has complete engulfed the Puget Sound and Western Washington.  We are also seeing some of the worst air quality yet for much of the Seattle metro.

Not as much smoke here in Portland, the AQI is around 90-130 in my area which is still bad though.

We're hovering at 150 here, which is awful.  Can't even see a mile out.  It's just all smoke and dark murky figures of trees and buildings.  Straight above my head though, at this exact moment, is the first time I've seen blue sky all day... so there's that. :D

Hopefully it gets better for us all very soon.

How bad are the surface conditions around Portland?    Trying to gauge how bad it will be in the Seattle area tomorrow.   I looked at some ODOT cams and it does not look real hazy on the ground.   Almost looks like a day with thick high clouds.
