Unfortunately sounds like 10 people died in a plane crash just this afternoon up on whidbey island.

EUG hit 90 on the 5 min obs, but it looks like their official high today was 89. 89/50 for them.

10-day precip map from the 00Z GFS.   Shows a little tropical moisture into SoCal... but not much.    And nothing farther north like the 00Z run yesterday showed.

Going through my 33,082 pictures this evening and came across this one…I instantly felt 40 degrees cooler just looking at it!!

I had 14" of snow from the 10 days between the 1st and the 11th! Of course most of it fell on one night but I did have some snow on the first and some snow/ice on the 7th/8th. Sadly WA didn't get much snow but February 2019 was good there!

PDX dropped to 17 twice with the airmass before the big snowstorm.

Yeah down here the best part of the month was before the big snow event. We had a big event on the 1st, and then a few inches on the 7th, pretty sure that was SLE's last sub-30 high. After the big snow, it was more of an inversion pattern, and wasn't as cold up here. 32/24 type days.

Seems like weekend isn't quite done with us yet for next weekend. Especially for PDX, pretty discouraging seeing these numbers on the models. 

And the GFS appears to be the one leading the way here.

Yeah... pretty sure people in Redding are used to warmth at this time of year.   Its climo.   Looks just a bit better than what you described.
